Syed, the founder of SY Records, has more than 20 years of experience as a musician, songwriter, sound engineer and producer. He has worked as a producer in Hollywood, California and has worked with a wide variety of musicians. Born in Karachi, Pakistan, Syed had great passion for both Eastern and Western music. After finishing high school from Cranford Community School Hounslow England, Syed moved to the USA.

After working as a musician and producer for several years, Syed decided to start his own record company. Syed has two major motives behind this launch; first, to produce music for mainstream USA; second, to give international musicians an opportunity to release their album without having to go back to their home country.

SY Records is the first Pakistani record company in USA. It’s the only Indian/Pakistani record company in Michigan.
